The 2-0 Pittsburgh Steelers go on the road to take on the 0-2 Chicago Bears in week 3.  Here is the pick for Steelers vs Bears.

The Pittsburgh Steelers have started out the 2017 season at 2-0.  They’ve gotten wins over the Cleveland Browns and the Minnesota Vikings, teams they’re expected to beat.  In week 3 they go on the road for Steelers vs Bears.  Another game they’re expected to win, but are they walking into a trap?

The Chicago Bears need a win badly.  They’re 0-2 staring at 0-3 and for some players like quarterback Mike Glennon, their jobs might be on the line.  So the Bears will be playing with a sense of urgency and unafraid to take a few risks to reap the rewards of victory.

However, the Pittsburgh Steelers aren’t the kind of team that overlooks opponents.  They’re too well coached by Mike Tomlin and they understand the bigger picture.  To get home field advantage in the playoffs, you have to win games like this.

The Steelers defense must shut down the Bears running game with running back Jordan Howard.  Howard had a fantastic rookies season but so far in 2017, the Bears haven’t been able to get their running game going.  So that’s mission one for them in Steelers vs Bears.

Run the football well.  If they can do that then, Mike Glennon will have a better chance of moving the ball through the air.  Because the Steelers with Ben Roethlisberger and Antonio Brown will move the ball, so the Bears must have some success.

Defensively, the Bears Akiem Hicks is an emerging force on the D-line, but he doesn’t have enough help around him to shut down the Steelers offense.  I think Glennon take care of the football better as he had 3 turnovers in week 2.

However, Ryan Shazier and the Steelers defense are one of the best defenses of this new season.  The Bears don’t have the weapons to overcome what the Steelers have on offense.  This is a trap game, but the Steelers won’t fall for it.  Steelers win.  Who do you think wins this game?
