The Jacksonville Jaguars blew out the Baltimore Ravens 44-7 in London.  Quarterback Blake Bortles threw  4 touchdown passes in the win.

London has become the Jacksonville Jaguars home away from home.  Pretty much every season they play a game in the UK, and they seem to have grasped an advantage from it.  While the Baltimore Ravens appeared shell-shocked and got blown out 44-7.

The game started with both teams participating in a protest over comments from president Donald Trump.  Trump stated at a rally in Alabama that NFL owners should fire players who kneel or sit during the national anthem.

Jacksonville Jaguars owner Shahid Khan joined his players on the sideline during their protest and clasped arms with them.  Perhaps this show of unity had a positive effect on the Jaguars and a negative one on the Ravens.  As the Ravens appeared distracted and weren’t ready to play.

Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Blake Bortles was sharp during the game, going 20 of 31 for 244 yards passing and 4 TD’s.  In contrast, Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco had perhaps the worst game of his career, going 8 of 18 for 28 yards passing and 2 interceptions and got benched.

The Ravens committed 3 turnovers in total and were out-gained 410 yards to just 186, with just 52 yards passing.  This loss is a huge setback for the Baltimore Ravens who came into the game with a lot of momentum and a defense playing at a high level.

But now things look a lot differently for the Ravens after a debacle of this size as they go into their bye week.  The Jaguars after losing in week 2, get a huge win and they move to 2-1 on the season.  Now they have a ton of momentum going into the bye.
