The 2-1 Los Angeles Rams go on the road to take on the 2-1 Dallas Cowboys in week 4.  Here is the pick for Rams vs Cowboys.

The Dallas Cowboys got things rolling again in week 3 with a win on the road over the Arizona Cardinals.  But for Rams vs Cowboys in week 4, Dallas faces a team with an offense that looks to become one of the very best in the NFL.

The Los Angeles Rams are a team with a lot of promise.  Rookie head coach Sean McVay has done a good job of helping quarterback Jared Goff improve over his rookie season.  McVay has also found ways of getting running back Todd Gurley involved in the offense.

For the Cowboys offense, quarterback Dak Prescott was one of the guys who got passed over for Jared Goff.  But it was Prescott who became a star as a rookie not Goff.  Now he’s trying to cement himself as one of the top QB’s in the league.  So this quarterback duel will be one with some undertones to it.

As will how much of an impact the running backs will have.  Gurley is having a monster season, while the Cowboys’ Ezekiel Elliot is having a bit of a sophomore slump, much like Gurley did with the Rams last season.

But as much offensive fire power both teams have, this game could ultimately be decided by the defenses.  The Rams defense is expected to dominate in 2017.  But so far, coordinator Wade Phillips hasn’t been able to get the consistency he wants.

Which is one of the reasons the Cowboys have an edge in this game.  Their defense is playing with more consistency and they have young players like DeMarcus Lawrence and Maliek Collins having breakout seasons.

It will be closer than some think and the Rams will move the ball.  But the Cowboys will control the clock and the line of scrimmage.  I like the Cowboys at home.
