Established Vets

Aside from this group of up and coming young stars, there are a number of established veteran players who will immediately fill the void once Brady, Brees and Roethlisberger move on.

Aaron Rodgers is the obvious face of the league and nothing really needs to be said on his talents or accomplishments. He is the complete quarterback and is arguably more talented than anyone to ever play the position.

Rodgers consistently puts his team in championship contention despite the lack of depth and talent surrounding him. Another Super Bowl winner certainly catapults him into the GOAT discussion.

Russell Wilson, Eli Manning and Joe Flacco are the three other super bowl winners remaining and this trio could all do it again given the right pieces. Manning could be on the way out soon, but who would doubt him come playoff time?

More from With the First Pick

Wilson is an MVP candidate annually and has already proven his worth on the biggest stage, taking down the Broncos in Super Bowl 48. His athletic ability outside the pocket is rivaled by few and his elusiveness is unique.

Wilson is hugely likeable and garners massive support in Seattle. His defense always gives him the chance to win even when the offense isn’t firing.

It would be no surprise to see him hoisting another Lombardi in the future.

Cam Newton, Matt Ryan and Andrew Luck are all established stars in the league and have their own championship ambitions. Ryan and Newton have experienced losing the big game and Luck is yet to crack the Patriots in the post season.

All three have fallen to future hall of fame quarterbacks in Brady and Peyton Manning in the biggest games of their lives. The absence of that hurdle will allow them to take the leap and win the big one.

Luck is a future MVP and Super Bowl winner if he can stay healthy. He has been hindered by a terrible roster throughout his career yet still produces wins and huge numbers.

Matthew Stafford is another with huge talent and playoff experience that will shine even brighter given more opportunity.

Along with Eli, Phillip Rivers and Carson Palmer are other former pro bowlers who could retire in the coming years. But even so, their presence shows the depth of quality that exists in the league at this moment in time.
