Predicting the Landing Spot for Top Potential 2018 NFL Free Agents
By Jon Dove
Sam Bradford
Current Team: Minnesota Vikings
Franchise Tag Likelihood: Low
Predicted New Team: Minnesota Vikings
The Minnesota Vikings have a really tough decision to make in the offseason. They need to figure out if they are moving forward with Sam Bradford or Teddy Bridgewater at quarterback. Both players have talent, but also come with medical risks.

Bradford’s knee issues this season are a major red flag. However, his performance last year was enough to earn him a starting job. The key to the Vikings decision might be how Bradford performs for the rest of this year.
My personal feeling is that Bradford will be the quarterback who sticks in Minnesota. It would make sense for the pair to find some middle ground on a contract. Bradford knows that his injury history impacts his free agent market.
The Vikings also know that Bradford has banked a lot of money over the years. He was one of the last players to receive a mega-deal as the No. 1 overall pick in the draft.
If Bradford hits the open market I could see him as a short-term replacement for Kirk Cousins who appears to be moving on from the Washington Redskins. However, I’m predicting Bradford sticking with the Vikings.
