Projecting the 2018 NFL Draft Order: Week 11 Update
By Jon Dove
The NFL Season is getting crazier by the moment which has really shaken up the projected 2018 NFL Draft order.
This week I utlized ESPN’s updated NFL Power Rankings to develop my latest projection for the 2018 NFL Draft Order. There are a handful of changes, but the early part of the draft remains the same.
1. Cleveland Browns
The Cleveland Browns are the last remaining winless team in the NFL. This puts them in the driver’s seat to land the No. 1 overall pick. However, it’s hard to imagine anyone in that organization rooting for a winless season.
2. San Francisco 49ers
San Francisco was able to get their first win of the season against the New York Giants. However, ESPN’s power rankings don’t obviously have more faith in the Giants to pull off at least one more win. The 49ers should soon turn things over to Jimmy Garoppolo which could change a few things.
3. New York Giants

The Giants continue to be a complete mess and it doesn’t look like things will turn around this year. This is a team that needs to clean house in the offseason and find a new head coach that can restore order.
4. Indianapolis Colts
Jacoby Brissett is having a solid year and could be someone the Colts flip for a high draft choice in the offseason. This is really the only bright spot for a team looking at landing a top-5 pick.
5. Chicago Bears
Chicago came out of their bye week as favorites against the Green Bay Packers. Unfortunately, they laid an egg which appears likely to cost John Fox and company their jobs.
6. Cincinnati Bengals
Cincinnati continues to look like a team that lacks energy and effort. It’s crazy to see a team struggle this bad with this much talent on the roster.
7. Miami Dolphins
Personally, Adam Gase strikes me as a good overall coach but something is wrong in Miami. The Dolphins are really struggling to string together wins and look completely lost at the moment.
8. Arizona Cardinals
The injury bug has hit the Arizona Cardinals hard which has derailed their season. It’ll be interesting to see how they handle the quarterback situation during the offseason.
