The NFL Playoff picture is starting to take shape and so is the potential 2018 NFL Draft Order.

This week I utilized ESPN’s Updated Power Rankings to develop my projected 2018 NFL Draft Order. There was also a playoff scenario worked in to figure out the order for the final 12 picks.

1. Cleveland Browns

Another week and another loss for the lowly Cleveland Browns. At this point it’s looking more likely that the Browns will finish the year without a win. A winless year could spell the end for Hue Jackson with the Browns.

2. San Francisco 49ers

I’m very curious to see when the 49ers are going to turn things over to Jimmy Garoppolo and how he’ll perform. They need to at least get a look at what they traded for before they hand him a long-term contract.

3. Indianapolis Colts

More from With the First Pick

The Indianapolis Colts are set up to land a very early pick and hopefully a transcendent talent. They could also market Jacoby Brissett and land themselves another early round pick. However, their future really depends on the health of Andrew Luck.

4. New York Giants

It wouldn’t be a major surprise if the New York Giants are able to string together a few wins at the end of the year. They have talent on the roster, but just have underperformed. That’s a pretty damning statement for Head Coach Ben McAdoo.

5. Miami Dolphins

It really looks like we could be seeing the official end of Jay Culter’s career. His time in Miami has been a roller coaster and in line with the rest of his career. The Dolphins need to move forward with either Ryan Tannehill or draft a starter early in the 2018 NFL Draft.

6. Denver Broncos

The way things are playing out it looks like the Broncos are going to be in the market for a quarterback in the 2018 NFL Draft. I wouldn’t be surprised to see them be extremely aggressive and potentially trade up to land the man they covet.

7. Green Bay Packers

Without Aaron Rodgers in the lineup the Green Bay Packers weaknesses really stand out. Luckily, they appear on the verge of landing a solid draft pick and Rodgers will be back in the mix next season.

8. Chicago Bears

This is the one spot where the Power Rankings didn’t make much sense. The Packers have a much better record than the Bears and defeated them two weeks ago. Chicago is likely to land a top-5 pick unless they start to open things up on offense.
