Le’Veon Bell shows again why he’s the Best Running Back in the NFL

Le’Veon Bell had another outstanding performance in the Pittsburgh Steelers come from behind win against the Cincinnati Bengals.
The Pittsburgh Steelers are hitting their stride at the right time and appear poised to make a long playoff run. Le’Veon Bell is a major part of their success and continues to put up huge numbers. It’s his versatility that makes him such a special talent.

Last night, he finished with 182 total yards leading the Steelers in both rushing and receiving yards. The Cincinnati Bengals just didn’t have an answer for Bell and as a result were unable to hold onto the lead.
Pittsburgh has an interesting decision to make in the offseason as Bell again heads towards free agency. He is currently playing on the franchise tag, but obviously wants a long-term deal.
The Steelers are very aware of his value and how different the offense would look with him out of the lineup. However, Bell is looking for a market-setting deal that could cause salary cap issues for the Steelers.
If Bell were to hit the open market he would have no trouble finding a home. There are plenty of teams with enough cap room to add him to the mix. However, some of the suitors might not be in Pittsburgh’s situation.
Bell might have to chose between getting his salary demands or sticking with a winning organization.
The one thing that remains constant is that Bell is an exceptional talent and an extremely important part of the Steelers success. A big playoff performance could force the Steelers to meet Bell’s salary demands.
