Both the playoff and 2018 NFL Draft Order picture are starting to take shape as the season reaches its final weeks.

This updated 2018 NFL Draft Order uses ESPN’s latest Power Rankings with a playoff order worked into the mix. Things are looking really good for the Browns to again land the No. 1 overall pick.

1. Cleveland Browns

The Browns took another step closer to landing the No. 1 overall pick when the 49ers got a win over the Chicago Bears. This basically gives the Browns a two-game lead to grab the No. 1 pick in back-to-back drafts.

2. New York Giants

New York made some major changes this week by firing both Ben McAdoo and Jerry Reese. It was a long-time coming for both. The change could spark some better play on the field as it was clear the players were not fond of McAdoo.

3. Indianapolis Colts

Indianapolis continues to limp through the season and towards an early 1st round pick. However, there are some positives to take from their situation. They will have a chance to add a premier talent to a team that doesn’t have much elite players on the roster.

4. Chicago Bears

The Bears might be playing the worst football of any team in the league. Their loss to the 49ers is just the latest example of why the franchise needs to move on from John Fox in the very near future.

5. San Francisco 49ers

Jimmy Garoppolo looked good in his 49ers debut and has a chance to help the team get a few more wins down the stretch. For the 49ers, the wins don’t really matter as much as Garoppolo showing that he has what it takes to be a franchise quarterback.

6. Denver Broncos

The Broncos are a complete mess right now and the season is getting away from them. Things have looked so bad that we shouldn’t rule out a coaching change after the season.

7. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Tampa Bay is one of the more disappointing teams in the league. They made some major moves in the offseason that should’ve brought them closer to the playoffs and not picking in the top-10.

8. Cleveland Browns (via Hou)

The Texans have fallen off the map since Deshaun Watson’s injury. This has been good news for the Brows as this pick continues to look better and better. The Texans obviously don’t want to hand over this pick, but they have to feel good about how Watson played before his injury.
