Tonight a Must Win for the Atlanta Falcons

Tonight’s game featuring the Atlanta Falcons vs. New Orleans Saints is a must win game for the home team Falcons.
The Atlanta Falcons are running out of time to climb their way into the playoffs. They need to come away from tonight’s game against the New Orleans Saints with a victory. The fact that this is a home game makes it more important that they pull off the win.

This is going to be a tough matchup for the Falcons as the Saints are playing at a very high level. It’s going to be a physical game with the Saints looking to featuring their running attack. The key to the game very well might be how the Falcons handle the duo of Mark Ingram and Alvin Kamara.
Atlanta’s offense needs a big performance from Matt Ryan and Julio Jones. Look for standout rookie Marshon Lattimore to draw the Jones assignment.
Lattimore has been playing at a very high level, but Jones is an elite player who typically gets the best of even the best cornerbacks in the league. It doesn’t help that Lattimore has been dealing with an ankle injury.
New Orleans will also have to keep a close eye on Mohamad Sanu who is having himself a fine season. Matt Ryan is someone who doesn’t hesitate to work the ball to this other options.
This game not only has playoff implications, but also make things more interesting in the NFC South race. The Falcons and Saints have two games against each other left this year and a sweep by one team or the other could determine who wins the division.
