2018 NFL Draft Order: Last Full-Draft Projection
By Jon Dove
As we head into the final week of the NFL regular season we also get my final fully projected 2018 NFL Draft Order.
After this week, the early portion of the 2018 NFL Draft Order will be set in stone. The only portion that will need to be figured out is the playoff teams. This year’s playoffs are setting up to be a very entertaining group of teams.
The Philadelphia Eagles might be the most polarizing as they try to overcome the loss of Carson Wentz. Their hopes of advancing to the Super Bowl are aided by the fact they earned home-field advantage throughout the playoffs.
As far as the non-playoff teams are concerned, the Cleveland Browns are in prime position to add two difference makers in the 1st round. They are on pace to land two picks inside the top-5. It seems like a safe bet that one of those picks will be used on a quarterback.
However, we are already seeing some of the quarterbacks talk about wanting to land in an “ideal” situation. Josh Rosen didn’t specifically mention the Browns as a team he would like to avoid, but it’s easy to read between the lines.
1. Cleveland Browns
2. New York Giants
3. Indianapolis Colts
4. Cleveland Browns (via Hou)
5. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
6. Denver Broncos
