29. Jacksonville Jaguars- Dallas Goedert, TE, South Dakota State

The Jaguars are finally not picking inside the top-5 of the draft. However, they still have a chance to add a significant talent to their roster. Dallas Goedert is a bit of an unknown but should start to get more hype after the Senior Bowl.

He would give Jacksonville a pass catching threat at the tight end position. This pick would also help offset potential free agent losses at wide receiver.

30. Philadelphia Eagles- Denzel Ward, CB, Ohio State

There are a lot of people who love Denzel Ward as a prospect. However, his lack of overall size and balls skills are a concern. He also doesn’t show a ton of effort as a run defender. This is why his stock sits as a late 1st to 2nd round prospect on my Big Board.

However, this would be a great pick for the Eagles who could lose some secondary depth via free agency. Pairing Ward with last year’s 2nd round pick Sidney Jones would give the Eagles a talented cornerback duo.

31. Minnesota Vikings- Maurice Hurst, DT, Michigan

Maurice Hurst to the Minnesota Vikings seems like a match made in heaven. This is a team that could use a penetrating defensive tackle capable of generating pressure on the quarterback. Hurst has the quick burst, hustle and motor needed to play that role.

32. New England Patriots- Mason Rudolph, QB, Oklahoma State

The Patriots are going to come out of this draft with at least one quarterback. It’s a question of how they evaluate the prospects. Rudolph has 1st round talent and the upside to be a successful starter in the NFL. This would be the range where he would come off the board.
