By Jon Dove
This is a follow up to my 2018 NFL Mock Draft of the 1st round which posted a few hours ago.
Please be sure to check out the 1st round of this 2018 NFL Mock Draft that appeared on the site earlier in the afternoon. This is the 2nd round of that mock draft which builds off the players added in the 1st round.
The 2nd round of the 2018 NFL Draft has plenty of talent and will give teams a chance to add some immediate starters.
33. Cleveland Browns– Denzel Ward, CB, Ohio State
The Browns need secondary help and grab a potential No. 1 corner here with Ward.
34. New York Giants– Jamarco Jones, OT, Ohio State
Jones is a fluid athlete with the size needed to play left tackle in the NFL.
35. Cleveland Browns (via Hou)– Courtland Sutton, WR, SMU
Sutton features a rare combo of size and athleticism.
36. Indianapolis Colts– Tarvarus McFadden, CB, Florida State
McFadden is a ball-hawking cornerback who has a knack for creating turnovers.
37. New York Jets– Marcus Davenport, Edge, UTSA
The small school defender has a chance to be a special pass rusher.
38. Tampa Bay Buccaneers– Will Hernandez, OG, UTEP
Hernandez is a road-grader who will immediately improve the Buccaneers running game.
39. Chicago Bears– Michael Gallup, WR, Colorado State
Gallup has the size, speed and aggressiveness to quickly develop into a No. 1 receiver.
40. Denver Broncos– Derrick Nnadi, DT, Florida State
Nnadi is a load to move off the line of scrimmage and has upside as a pass rusher.
41. Oakland Raiders– Taven Bryan, DL, Florida
Bryan is a bit raw, but he has as much talent as any defensive lineman in this draft.

42. Miami Dolphins– Dallas Goedert, TE, South Dakota State
Goedert is a mismatch in the passing game and a potential game changer.
43. New England Patriots (via SF)– Harold Landry, Edge, Boston College
Landry has the burst needed to generate pressure off the edge.
44. Washington Redskins– Deon Cain, WR, Clemson
Cain has speed for days and is a major deep threat.
45. Green Bay Packers– Mark Andrews, TE, Oklahoma
Andrews has shown big-time potential as a pass catching tight end.
46. Cincinnati Bengals– Maurice Hurst, DT, Michigan
Hurst excels at penetrating the pocket and disrupting the timing of the offense.
47. Arizona Cardinals– Anthony Miller, WR, Memphis
Miller is a slot receiver who has a knack for finding the end zone.
48. Los Angeles Chargers– James Daniels, C, Iowa
Daniels is a day-1 starter and should have a long career in the NFL.
49. New York Jets (via Sea)– Isaiah Wynn, OL, Georgia
Wynn is an underrated prospect who could hear his name called much earlier than this spot.
50. Dallas Cowboys– D.J. Moore, WR, Maryland
Moore would give the Cowboys the speed they are lacking at the wide receiver position.
51. Detroit Lions– Sony Michel, RB, Georgia
Michel is a versatile runner who can also help as a pass catcher.
52. Baltimore Ravens– Isaiah Oliver, CB, Colorado
Oliver is still raw as a player, but his size and ball skills make him a high upside prospect.
53. Buffalo Bills– Joshua Jackson, CB, Iowa
Jackson has great ball skills, but I have questions about the rest of his skill set.
54. Kansas City Chiefs– Harrison Phillips, DL, Stanford
Phillips is a hard-nosed defender who is a load in the trenches.
55. Carolina Panthers– Auden Tate, WR, Florida State
Tate’s size and body control make him a great contested catch receiver.
56. Buffalo Bills (via LAR)– Billy Price, C/G, Ohio State
Price will be a nice fill in for the recently retired Eric Wood.
57. Tennessee Titans– Mason Cole, OL, Michigan
Cole has experience at all spots along the offensive line.
58. Atlanta Falcons– Equanimeous St. Brown, WR, Notre Dame
Brown is a dynamic athlete who also features great size.
59. San Francisco 49ers (via NO)– Quenton Meeks, CB, Stanford
Meeks might not be flashy but he gets the job done.
60. Pittsburgh Steelers– Kyzir White, S, West Virginia
White is a big hitter who is quickly developing as a coverage safety.
61. Jacksonville Jaguars– Mike Gesicki, TE, Penn State
Gesicki is a pass catching tight end with great hands and body control.
62. Minnesota Vikings– Rasheem Green, DL, USC
Green is a versatile defensive lineman who has flashed upside as a pass rusher.
63. Cleveland Browns (via Phi)– Akrum Wadley, RB, Iowa
Wadley has home-run ability while also being able to grind out the tough yards.
64. New England Patriots– Nick DeLuca, LB, North Dakota State
DeLuca would fit as a versatile linebacker in Bill Belichick’s stysem.
