This is the third part of a three part 2018 NFL Mock Draft which breaks down the entire 3nd Round.
The 3rd Round of my 2018 NFL Mock Draft has some very interesting prospect. Plenty of these guys have a chance to make an immediate impact. Some of my favorite prospects come off the board in this group.
3rd Round
65. Cleveland Browns- Anthony Miller, WR, Memphis
Miller is big-play specialist who can work out of the slot or on the outside.
66. New York Giants- Frank Ragnow, C, Arkansas
Ragnow is capable of stepping right in at center if the Giants fail to re-sign Weston Richburg.
67. Indianapolis Colts- Arkrum Wadley, RB, Iowa
Frank Gore is expected to move on so the Colts will need to add some depth at the position. Wadley is a potential every-down back with big play ability.
68. Houston Texans- Kyzir White, S, West Virginia
White is a playmaker who is always around the football. He is someone who can contribute just as much as a run and pass defender.
69. Tampa Bay Buccaneers- Jeff Holland, Edge, Auburn
Holland has flashed big-play ability off the edge. The Buccaneers desperately need defenders who can generate a pass rush.
70. San Francisco 49ers (via Chi)- Ronald Jones II, RB, USC
Some see Jones II as a 1st round talent, but he falls to the 3rd in my mock draft. He is someone who fits the current NFL in that he can work out of the backfield as a receiver and in the run game.
71. Denver Broncos- Auden Tate, WR, Florida State
Tate has excellent size and the ability to win in contested situations.

72. New York Jets- Jordan Lasley, WR, UCLA
Lasley is an explosive athlete who can take the top off a defense. His 3-game suspension this year is what forces him into the 3rd round of this mock draft.
73. Miami Dolphins- Mike White, QB, Western Kentucky
White has a huge arm and great down-field touch. He is someone who could develop into an effective starter in the NFL.
74. San Francisco 49ers- Armani Watts, S, Texas A&M
Watts is a ball-hawking safety with the explosiveness to click and close on the ball.
75. Oakland Raiders- Dante Pettis, WR, Washington
Pettis is a quick-twitch athlete capable of stretching the field. He also brings some value as a return man.
76. Green Bay Packers- Mark Andrews, TE, Oklahoma
Martellus Bennett failed to stick in Green Bay which as created a hole in the Packers lineup. Andrews is someone capable of attacking the seam and developing into a big target for Aaron Rodgers.
77. Cincinnati Bengals- Troy Fumagalli, TE, Wisconsin
Tyler Eifert appears on the way out the door so the Bengals need a long-term replacement. Fumagalli isn’t the same type of athlete, but has a knack for finding the open holes in a defense.
78. Kansas City Chiefs (via Wash)- D.J. Moore, WR, Maryland
Moore is an explosive weapon who would add another down-field option for the Chiefs.
79. Arizona Cardinals- Tim Settle, DL, Virginia Tech
Settle is a big-bodied defensive lineman who features surprising quickness.
80. Houston Texans (via Sea)- Duke Dawson, DB, Florida
Dawson comes with some versatility and toughness which is something the Texans need in their secondary.
81. Dallas Cowboys- Malik Jefferson, LB, Texas
Jefferson’s athleticism is something that immediately jumps off the screen. However, he needs to refine his game.
82. Detroit Lions- Tyquan Lewis, Edge, Ohio State
Lewis is a capable defender who can quickly work his way into the defensive line rotation.
83. Baltimore Ravens- Royce Freeman, RB, Oregon
Freeman would provide the Ravens with an explosive option out of the backfield
84. Los Angeles Chargers- Fred Warner, Edge/LB, BYU
Warner is a versatile edge defender who can rush the passer and hold up in coverage. He is still developing, but has tons of upside.
85. Carolina Panthers (via Buf)- Jessie Bates III, DB, Wake Forest
Bates is a tremendous athlete who flashes excellent feel for the game. He could fit at either safety or cornerback.
86. Kansas City Chief- Anthony Averett, CB, Alabama
Averett has plenty of experience going against big time talent in pressure situations. He has always held his own.
87. Los Angeles Rams- Tyrell Crosby, OL, Oregon
Crosby could develop into a starter at either tackle or guard.
88. Carolina Panthers- Justin Jones, DL, NC State
Jones is a physical presence along the defensive line. His non-stop motor will be something defensive coaches love.
89. Tennessee Titans- Hayden Hurst, TE, Arkansas
Hurst has the athleticism to be a matchup problem in the passing game. However, he is very raw and needs time to develop.
90. Atlanta Falcons- Lowell Lotulelei, DT, Utah
Lotulelei is coming off a down year, but he still has the potential to be a dominant space-eater.
91. New Orleans Saints- Luke Falk, QB, Washington State
The Saints need to find a young quarterback to develop behind Drew Brees. Falk is a talented quarterback who is flying well under the radar.
92. Pittsburgh Steelers- Rashaad Penny, RB, San Diego State
The Steelers are in a contract fight with Le’Veon Bell and may need to find a replacement.
93. Jacksonville Jaguars- Lamar Jackson, QB, Louisville
This is a great landing spot for Jackson who will need to prove he can be an effective passer in the NFL.
94. Minnesota Vikings- Sean Welsh, OL, Iowa
Welsh is an experienced offensive lineman who plays with terrific technique.
95. New England Patriots- Kyle Lauletta, QB, Richmond
Lauletta had a great showing at the Senior Bowl. He would be someone that can develop behind Tom Brady for a few years.
96. Buffalo Bills (via Phi)- Austin Corbett, OG, Nevada
Corbett is a nasty and physical guard who could be the long-term replacement for Richie Incognito.
