2018 NFL Draft Big Board: Post Combine Update
By Jon Dove
The NFL Scouting Combine is over and there have been some adjustments to my 2018 NFL Draft Big Board.
NFL Free Agency is about to kick off which will impact where many of the players on my 2018 NFL Draft Big Board are selected. This updated version of my Big Board takes into account the results of the Combine.
1. Saquon Barkley, RB, Penn State
Barkley put on a show at the combine and thus cements his status as the No. 1 prospect.
2. Bradley Chubb, Edge, NC State
Chubb is real deal and someone who should be able to make an immediate impact. I love his ability to also contribute in the run game.
3. Minkah Fitzpatrick, DB, Alabama
Fitzpatrick is a hybrid defender who fits today’s NFL. His ball skills and turnover potential help his overall draft stock.
4. Josh Rosen, QB, UCLA
Rosen is naturally gifted passer who also shows the ability to process information.
5. Josh Allen, QB, Wyoming

Edmunds is a sideline to sideline defender who sets the tone of his defense.
7. Sam Darnold, QB, UCLA
Darnold struggled this past year with turnovers, but he is still a top-end quarterback prospect.

9. Derwin James, S, Florida State
James has all the physical tools needed to succeed and also plays with a strong motor.

Vea is a massive individual who can be a dominating force in the trenches.
11. Roquan Smith, LB, Georgia
Smith works all over the field and loves to attack going downhill.

13. Mike McGlinchey, OT, Notre Dame
McGlinchey is a solid player who is a good athlete and competes.
14. Chukwuma Okorafor, OT, Western Michigan
Okorafor is a smooth athlete who features the length coveted in a left tackle prospect.

19. Denzel Ward, CB, Ohio State
Ward’s smaller frame may limit his upside, but he has the athleticism and feel to be a top-end cornerback.
20. Christian Kirk, WR, Texas A&M
Kirk is a fluid athlete who quickly gets in and out of his breaks. He will be a strong route runner at the next level.

25. Donte Jackson, CB, LSU
Jackson is a speedy defender who also features strong coverage ability.
26. Kolton Miller, OT, UCLA
Miller has along and athletic build which helps him protect the edge. He needs to get a little stronger, but is already a talented pass protector.

Brown’s Combine performance was a disaster and will absolutely impact his draft stock. However, he still looks like a solid tackle prospect on tape.
