The 1st week of free agency is almost in the books and it has completely changed my 2018 NFL Mock Draft development.

This updated version of my 2018 NFL Mock Draft features a ton of changes based on the outcome of free agency. The crazy amount of player movement has created different needs for many teams around the league.

1. Cleveland Browns- Josh Allen, QB, Wyoming

Allen is the most physically talented quarterback in this class and will get to learn behind Tyrod Taylor in Cleveland.

2. New York Giants- Saquan Barkley, RB, Penn State

Barkley is a dynamic offensive weapon which will help the Giants quickly rebound from last  year’s terrible season.

3. **Trade** Buffalo Bills (via Indy)- Sam Darnold, QB, USC

Buffalo has collected a ton of draft assets in order to move up for a quarterback.

4. Cleveland Browns (via Hou)- Bradley Chubb, Edge, NC State

Teaming Chubb with Myles Garrett would give the Browns an elite pass rushing tandem.

5. Denver Broncos- Minkah Fitzpatrick, CB, Alabama

The decision to trade away Aqib Talib opens a hole in the secondary which can be filled by

Fitzpatrick.

6. New York Jets- Josh Rosen, QB, UCLA

Rosen can learn behind Josh McCown until he’s ready to seize the starting job.

7. Tampa Bay Buccaneers- Derwin James, S, Florida State

James is a playmaker who will immediately make the Buccaneers secondary better.

8. Chicago Bears- Quenton Nelson, G, Notre Dame

Chicago has an opening at one of their guard spots and land an elite player here.

9. San Francisco 49ers- Denzel Ward, CB, Ohio State

The 49ers might have added Richard Sherman, but still could use talent at cornerback.

10. Oakland Raiders- Tremaine Edmunds, LB, Virginia Tech

Edmunds is an elite athlete who also possesses great instincts. He would look great working out of the Raiders linebacker corps.

11. Miami Dolphins- Roquan Smith, LB, Georgia

Smith is a tone setter and would give the Dolphins a leader in the middle of their defense.

12. **Trade** Indianapolis Colts (via Buff/Cinn)- Marcus Davenport, Edge, UTSA

The Colts move down the draft but land a potentially dominant pass rusher in Marcus Davenport.

13. Washington Redskins- Jaire Alexander, CB, Louisville

Alexander is a ball-hawking cornerback who also has top-notch coverage skills.

14. Green Bay Packers- Calvin Ridley, WR, Alabama

Ridley would be a nice replacement for the recently released Jordy Nelson.

15. Arizona Cardinals- Baker Mayfield, QB, Oklahoma

The Cardinals brought in Sam Bradford, but his health problems leave quarterback still a position of need.

16. Baltimore Ravens- Connor Williams, OG/OT, Texas

Williams can fit at either guard or right tackle for the Ravens.

17. Los Angeles Chargers- Ronnie Harrison, S, Alabama

Harrison is a versatile safety prospect who can support the run and create turnovers in coverage.

18. Seattle Seahawks- Vita Vea, DT, Washington

Vea is a dominant interior defender who will help the Seahawks rebuild their defensive line.

19. Dallas Cowboys- D.J. Chark, WR, LSU

The Cowboys need speed at the wide receiver position and Chark offers a ton of that.

20. Detroit Lions- James Daniels, C, Iowa

Daniels is a plug and play prospect who would fill a need for the Lions.

21. Cincinnati Bengals (via Buff)- Will Hernandez, G, UTEP

Hernandez would provide some physicality upfront for the Bengals.

22. **Trade** Indianapolis Colts (via Buff/KC)- Mike Hughes, CB, UCF

Hughes would be a great addition to a Colts defense that is in a rebuilding phase.

23. Carolina Panthers- D.J. Moore, WR, Maryland

Moore would give Cam Newton another weapon and add some speed to the receiver position.

24. Los Angeles Rams- Lorenzo Carter, Edge, Georgia

Carter is a rising  prospect who can bring pressure off the edge. He would serve as a replacement for Robert Quinn.

25. Tennessee Titans- Sam Hubbard, Edge, Ohio State

Hubbard is an underrated prospect who has the potential to be a double digit sack artist.

26. Atlanta Falcons- Christian Kirk, WR, Texas A&M

The Falcons need to replace Taylor Gabriel in the slot where Kirk projects to play at the next level.

27. New Orleans Saints- Da’Ron Payne, DT, Alabama

The Saints continue to rebuild their defense and add a physical presence here with Payne.

28. Pittsburgh Steelers- Rashaan Evans, LB, Alabama

Evans is a chess piece who can work at inside linebacker and move to the edge on passing downs.

29. Jacksonville Jaguars- James Washington, WR, Oklahoma State

The Jaguars need to find a physical receiver to replace Allen Robinson.

30. Minnesota Vikings- Isaiah Wynn, OG, Georgia

The Vikings don’t have many  needs, but could use some more depth and talent along the offensive line.

31. New England Patriots- Kolton Miller, OT, UCLA

Miller is a little raw, but he has the potential to be the long-term replacement for Nate Solder.

32. Philadelphia Eagles- Dallas Goedert, TE, South Dakota State

The Eagles lost Trey Burton via free agency and add a potential upgrade here with Dallas Goedert.
