INDIANAPOLIS, IN - SEPTEMBER 17: Johnathan Hankins

The NFL Free Agency period has basically come to a halt, but there are still some potential contributors on the market.

Things have really cooled off when it comes to NFL Free Agency with teams looking more towards the trade market. However, there are several players on the market who could provide a boost. Some teams are destine to get a steal at this point in the offseason.

Below are the top remaining NFL Free Agents:

1. Johnathan Hankins, Defensive Tackle

Hankins does one thing very well and that’s stuffing the run. His market is slowed because he is basically a 2-down player. However, there’s plenty of teams that could use a run stuffing defensive tackle like Hankins.

2. Bashaud Breeland, Cornerback

It appears that an injury issue is keeping Breeland from signing a new deal. He was reported to have something in place with the Carolina Panthers that fell through. It’ll be interesting to see who is willing to take a risk on this talented defensive back.

3. NaVorro Bowman, Linebacker

Bowman is getting up there in age and has had knee problems, but he was still effective last year. He would also serve as a strong veteran presence in the locker room.

4. Jordan Matthews, Wide Receiver

Matthews injury last year has really hurt his free agency market. However, he has proven that he can put up some solid numbers when given an opportunity.

5. Kenny Vacarro, Safety

Vacarro has never lived up to expectations, but could find some new life as a chance of scenery player.

6. Bennie Logan, Defensive Tackle

Logan is a solid run defender who was out of place lining up at nose tackle for the Kansas City Chiefs last year. His best fit is working in a 4-3 defensive front that offers him some extra protection.

7. Eric Reid, Safety

Reid is a talented player who has produced when healthy. The problem is he has concussion issues that makes teams leery.

8. Kony Ealy, Edge

Ealy is unlikely to be a steady pass rusher, but he is a hard worker who offers good depth along the defensive line.

9. Kendall Wright, Wide Receiver

Wright is an ideal slot receiver who produced last year with the Chicago Bears.

10. Tre Boston, Safety

Boston has starter experience and doesn’t hesitate to support the run.
