The Denver Broncos are hoping their offseason decision to bring in Case Keenum will finally settle their quarterback problems.

Ever since the retirement of Peyton Manning the Denver Broncos have had issues at the quarterback position. Their hope was that former 1st-round pick, Paxton Lynch, would be able to develop into a star. However, they have now turned to Case Keenum as their starter.

Keenum proved last year that he can play winning football. He might not be a superstar, but he’s someone who will work hard and knows how to use his supporting cast.

Denver added some talent to their offense with Courtland Sutton, DaeSean Hamilton, Troy Fumagalli and Royce Freeman. These four youngsters should all get a chance to make early contributions.

More from With the First Pick

Arguably the biggest addition for the Broncos can on the defensive side. No. 5 overall pick, Bradley Chubb, will be expected to make an impact from day one. His pass rushing skills will be put to quick use opposite Von Miller.

The Broncos secondary is going through a bit of a chance with Aqib Talib now with the Los Angeles Rams. Bradley Roby will get a shot to lock down Talib’s starting position. However, the real competition will come at the nickle positions.

Brendan Langley, William Parks, Tramaine Brock and Issac Yiadom will enter training camp looking to land that all-important position.

One of the bigger things to take from the Broncos offseason is that they added a good collection of young talent. This will give the roster depth and help them prepare for future free agent departures.

However, there is some major pressure on Keenum to get the job done and stabilize the quarterback situation.
