Weakness 1: Durability concerns

As most of the NFL Draft community is aware of, Bosa suffered a season-ending abdominal injury versus TCU on September 15th. He underwent surgery and decided that he was going to prepare for the NFL Draft rather than risk injury again and have a proper rehab. This should be a good decision for him, but when any player has surgery it’s certainly not guaranteed they will come back 100%. It’s also worth noting that his brother Joey Bosa has already missed 13 games out of a possible 48 so far in his career due to a pulled hamstring and foot issues. So while not a tremendous red flag, it’s certainly worth noting.

Weakness 2: Good but not Great Athleticism

This is a minor gripe on Bosa, but top 5 picks have to be heavily scrutinized in the NFL Draft process. While Bosa has good quickness and strength, he’s really only a good athlete compared to other top 5 edge defenders like Myles Garrett and Jadeveon Clowney. He’s expected to put up similar numbers to his brother at the combine, which were very good in some areas(6.89 3-cone) and average in others (4.84 40 yard dash).
