Running Backs

  • Ezekiel Elliott
  • Darius Jackson
  • Tony Pollard
  • Mike Weber
  • Jamize Olawale

Ezekiel Elliott is currently holding out of training camp looking for a contract extension this summer. I expect the contract dispute to be resolved by training camp as Elliott is a huge key to the Cowboys’ recent success. They did sign Alfred Morris in response to Elliott’s holdout, but I expect Dallas to go with the younger depth. Jackson, Pollard, and Weber are all young players who provide more explosiveness than Morris. Olawale fills the fullback role on the roster.

Player to watch: Alfred Morris
