Linebackers

  • Denzel Perryman
  • Thomas Davis
  • Uchenna Nwosu
  • Kyzir White
  • Nick Dzubnar
  • Emeke Egbule
  • Jatavis Brown
  • Drue Tranquill

Injuries hit this position hard last season for the Chargers, hence the need to play 7 defensive backs most of the time in the playoffs last season. Perryman is a throwback player who is at his best playing the run downhill. Dzunbar is a backup in the same vane. Davis, Nwosu, Egbule, and Brown offer more athleticism and coverage ability. White and Tranquill are two young, former college safeties who provide very good coverage ability and will help on Special Teams.
