Safeties

  • Derwin James
  • Adrian Phillips
  • Rayshawn Jenkins
  • Nasir Adderley

The Chargers will be without James for a few weeks to start the season, but he has already established himself as one of the most impactful defenders in the league after his rookie season. Adderley looks like a perfect complement to James as a rangy free safety who will get multiple starts in his rookie season. Phillips and Jenkins are two physical safeties who will provide depth and toughness.
