In this 53-man roster series, we will try to predict which players will make every team’s final squad. Next up, the Seattle Seahawks.

Pete Carroll and the Seahawks went back to their roots in 2018 leaning more consistently on the run game instead of relying on Russell Wilson’s playmaking ability so much. That led the franchise to 10 wins and a playoff berth.

That will likely be the recipe for success again in Seattle with a deep running backs corp and a largely unproven group of receivers. The defense is still solid while getting rebuilt after the end of the “Legion of Boom” era. The Seahawks have a good enough roster to be on the playoff bubble once again in 2019.

Quarterbacks

  • Russell Wilson
  • Geno Smith

Russell Wilson is an elite quarterback who can destroy defenses with his arm or his leg. He will continue to be the driving force behind Seattle’s success. Geno Smith has journeyed around the NFL in his career but is a solid backup.
