2 Tackles – 1 Sack

The third overall pick in last year’s draft didn’t waste time getting his first sack. Nick Bosa had gotten closer a few times, but finally got to Jameis Winston in the third quarter with a bit of hustle.

Bosa’s stats may not be eye-popping just yet, but he still plays a key role. Bosa’s a threat that draws enough attention to open lanes for other rushers. It’s just Week 1 and that impact has already been seen. Just look at Dee Ford’s strip-sack. Bosa forces Winston up in the pocket right into Ford.

Bosa is already paying forward his high draft capital. He’s well on his way to carving out a strong edge presence, just like his brother, Joey.
