Marvin Wilson is a fun prospect to watch. He possesses one of the highest motors of any defensive prospect in this class. Wilson consistently is in the final frame of plays, even when the play ends 15-yards downfield on the far sideline. That is the extent of this young man’s hustle.

Wilson is more than just a high-effort player, however. He’s a skilled pass rusher with quick hands and feet. He employs a wide range of speed and power moves that see him free into the backfield quite often. He arrives at the quarterback with crushing hit power.

As a run defender, he utilizes his quickness wonderfully, shedding blocks efficiently while closing to the ball carrier. He’s not all speed though, as he shows enough strength to fight through double teams as well.

Wilson is a first-round candidate that will fit nicely in a 4-3 scheme in the NFL. His quickness and versatility across the line will make him a lot of cash at the next level.
