Scouting Report. QB. Ohio State. Justin Fields. 4. player. Pick Analysis. 812

Last week: BYE

Season Stats: 98-for-141 (69.5%)| 1,298 yards| 18 TD| 1 INT| 57 rushes| 283 yards| 8 TD

It’s safe to say the backfield for the Buckeyes has been nothing short of incredible this season. JK Dobbins was already mentioned as a Heisman contender and Justin Fields has arguably been the most important player for Ohio State.

He has been efficient throwing the ball this season and he’s in the top five in the country in quarterback rating. He has also been a touchdown machine, accounting for 26 total touchdowns between the run and the pass.

While they may take away from each other’s stats at times, both Fields and Dobbins have been playing at a very high level this season and are a big reason why the Buckeyes are squarely in the National Championship conversation.

It is always tough to travel to Northwestern, but that is the task for Fields and Ohio State this week. They will need to be careful to not look ahead of this match-up to next week’s clash versus Wisconsin if they wish to remain undefeated.
