player. RB. Jonathan Taylor. Wisconsin. 5. 809. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis

Last week vs. Michigan State: 26 rushes| 80 yards| 3.1 ypc| 2 TD| 13 Long| 3 receptions| 22 yards| 0 TD

Season Stats: 129 rushes| 825 yards| 6.4 ypc| 14 TD| 72 Long| 15 receptions| 136 yards| 4 TD

Jonathan Taylor had a subpar game last week compared to his normal standards, and he was mostly kept in check by the Michigan State defense. He was held to under 100 yards and under 3.0 yards per carry for the first time this season.

That being said, he was still able to find the end-zone twice on the ground. He now leads the nation with 14 rushing touchdowns while being third in rushing yards behind fellow Heisman contenders JK Dobbins and Chuba Hubbard.

Taylor has largely looked like the best all-around running back in the nation so far this season and will need to continue to play at a very high level if he wants to get invited to New York in December.

After largely struggling last week, Taylor figures to have an easier day rushing the football this Saturday when Wisconsin travels to take on the Fighting Illini of Illinois. The real test looms next week when Ohio State is on the docket for the Badgers.
