JK Dobbins. player. 812. Scouting Report. RB. Ohio State. 5. Pick Analysis

Last week vs. (13) Wisconsin: 20 att.| 163 yards| 8.2 ypa| 2 TD| 34 Long| 3 receptions| 58 yards| 0 TD

Season Stats: 154 att.| 1,110 yards| 7.2 ypa| 9 TD| 68 Long| 13 receptions| 132 yards| 2 TD

JK Dobbins has been listed as an honorable mention in this space most of the season due to his lack of touchdown production, especially when compared to his backfield mate, Justin Fields. After having a very good game against the tough Wisconsin defense, however, this is the week he overtakes Fields as the better Heisman contender of the two.

Dobbins has been churning out the rushing yards all season as evidenced by the fact he is second in the nation in that category behind only Chuba Hubbard. In recent weeks, he has started to close the gap in the touchdown department with the Wisconsin game being his second week in a row of finding the end zone multiple times. Dobbins has looked stronger, faster, and quicker this season as the workhorse back for the Buckeyes. Really the only thing that has been holding him back from being one of the top true contenders for the Heisman trophy has been Fields.

Dobbins will look to keep his hot streak going in two weeks when Ohio State plays Maryland on November 9th after a BYE week.
