It has been no surprise to anyone who has watched a Browns game this season that the offensive line is in dire need of an infusion of talent. The more the over-hyped Browns keep losing, the better position they are putting themselves in to land the best tackle in the class in Georgia’s Andrew Thomas.

More from With the First Pick

While Wyatt Teller put together a solid performance in the Browns’ win last week against the Buffalo Bills, and rookie Drew Forbes is returning from injured reserve, the Browns still have a gaping hole where Greg Robinson pretends to play football at left tackle. Thomas is not only a day one starter, but may be just the guy to follow up the last Thomas to play left tackle in brown and orange, you know? Future first ballot Hall of Famer Joe Thomas?

While Baker Mayfield has clearly shown signs of regression this season that cannot be pegged onto the offensive line, his companions up front outside of left guard Joel Bitonio and center J.C. Tretter have not been of much assistance. Right now slated with the seventh overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, the Cleveland Browns find themselves in position to land the best tackle in the class to help out their franchise quarterback.
