Scouting Report

First up is Oklahoma football defensive tackle Neville Gallimore, who was named to Bruce Feldman’s preseason freak list for being one of the most athletic players in the country. At 6-2 and 301 pounds, reportedly Gallimore has the ability to run a sub-4.8 40 yard dash, so as his draft stock continues to rise with his on-field performance, it could skyrocket at the combine in March.

More from With the First Pick

Taking a leap forward from his junior season in 2018 to now, Gallimore has already matched or surpassed his numbers from a year ago. So far in this season, Gallimore has tallied five and a half tackles for loss, three sacks, and two forced fumbles for the Sooners’ much improved defense.

In this matchup, he should be able to overmatch Baylor’s offensive line and have a frequent meet and greet with the Bears’ quarterback Charlie Brewer and running back John Lovett. With all the physical tools, Gallimore is putting together solid film this season as well.

Gallimore will be attending the Senior Bowl in a couple months as well to further display his product as this Oklahoma football program continues to pump out top rated draft prospects. Right now he is slotted as a potential early day-two pick, but it would not be a shock to see a team take a chance on his tools and select him in the first round by the time April rolls around either.
