2020 NFL Draft: Tua slips in first round mock draft after injury
By Cory Kinnan
With the first pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, the Cincinnati Bengals select Joe Burrow, quarterback, LSU.
With the injury to Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, it looks like Joe Burrow, barring an injury himself, is in prime position to become the top pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. This is quite the accomplishment for a guy that was considered as a day-three flyer at the beginning of the season for the LSU Tigers.

In the driver’s seat to win the Heisman Trophy, Burrow has the Tigers as the top ranked team in the nation as he continues to look like a franchise leading quarterback. Showing the gritty, tough attitude that it takes to take over the reigns of an NFL team, Burrow always seems to make a play for LSU when they need it the most; this is one of the main reasons they are still undefeated on the season.
Completing an astounding 78 percent of his passes, Burrow has thrown for 3,687 yards, and has tallied 38 touchdowns to just six interceptions on the season. In his second season since transferring from Ohio State, Burrow has taken a massive leap forward from where he was a year ago to where he is today.
After benching Andy Dalton and clearly seeing that Ryan Finley is not a viable long term solution at the quarterback position, Burrow is a no brainer for the Bengals.
