Pick Analysis. Georgia. D'Andre Swift. 23. player. Scouting Report. RB. 124

With the 23rd pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, the Kansas City Chiefs select D’Andre Swift, running back, Georgia.

LeSean McCoy is on the last leg of his career and is only in Kansas City for the rest of this year, so what should the Chiefs do? Draft the player whose pro comparison is Shady in D’Andre Swift from Georgia. Swift would fit into Kansas City’s offense like a glove as he is a versatile back that thrives in the open field and as a receiver out of the backfield.

At 5-9 and 215 pounds, Swift is no slouch as a runner between the tackles as well. Swift has tallied his second straight 1,000 yard season for the Bulldogs, as he has averaged over six and a half yards per carry throughout his career and scored 20 touchdowns on the ground as well.

The versatile Georgia back (dare we call Georgia RBU?) has also caught a career total of 66 passes for over 600 yards receiving and five additional scores. Swift is an absolute joy to watch in the open field as he has the innate ability to make an open field cut without losing any acceleration in the meantime.

Listed as this writer’s top rated running back, Swift is the first running back off the board here.
