Texas vs. Baylor: 5 2020 NFL Draft prospects to watch
Brandon Jones is easily the top overall NFL prospect in this game. He currently leads the Longhorns in tackles and pass breakups while also notching two interceptions on the year. Jones has also notched a sack, forced fumble, and a fumble recovery this year. On what has been a suspect defense for Texas, Brandon Jones has been clearly the best player on that side of the ball.

Jones has prototypical size for the position with solid athletic traits. The fact that he is physical and not afraid of contact make him perfectly suited to play closer to the line of scrimmage at the next level. While he is at his best playing downhill in the run game, Jones does show solid range as a deep safety in zone coverage.
He also has shown the ability to lock down tight ends and running backs in man coverage as well. The biggest knock on Jones before this season was his ball skills and ability to create takeaways. He has answered those concerns somewhat this season with his career-high two interceptions and four pass breakups.
In this game, expect Brandon Jones to mainly be used in the box as another de facto linebacker to help slow down the good Baylor run game. Especially since Baylor quarterback Charlie Brewer is not known for pushing the ball deep downfield through the air.
