Juwan Johnson, Wide Receiver, Oregon

Johnson has only played in 4 games for the Ducks, missing the first half of the season because of an injury. It took two games for Justin Herbert and Johnson to form a connection, but in the last two games, that bond has become very strong. After Jacob Breeland went down in the Colorado game, Herbert needed to find a new favorite target and Johnson rose to the occasion. Having Johnson back for the playoff push the Ducks are looking to make is a huge plus and having him against Auburn may have led to an Oregon win.

More from With the First Pick

In his first two games on the field for Oregon, Johnson didn’t have the production; he had a combined total of 6 catches for exactly 100 yards and 0 touchdowns. In the last two games with the Ducks, he has put up 12 catches, 199 yards, and 4 touchdowns. His strongest stand-alone performance came against USC where he racked up 3 touchdowns and just over 100 yards.

Johnson is a walking mismatch whenever he is on the field. Line him up against a corner and he’s likely going to be a couple inches larger and several pounds heavier; Johnson is 6’4″ 231 pounds. If you line him in the slot against a linebacker he’s just going to blow by him, he’s a solid mover for his size. Heck, put him anywhere on the field and he’ll find success.
