Sunshine State Showdown: 8 2020 NFL Draft Prospects to Watch in FSU-UF
By Joseph Yun
92 Jabari Zuniga 6’3 257 EDGE RS Senior
Zuniga has been injured for parts of this season but when healthy, he’s been very effective as an EDGE this year. He played really well last season, bursting onto the scene leading the Gators defensive line. Zuniga is more of a run defender but has the tools to become an elite pass rusher with the right team. Power off the snap is quite evident. He’s really herky jerky in his pass rush, often just going at the offensive tackle and hoping to get lucky. Power is the name of his game so far.

5 C.J. Henderson 6’1 182 CB Junior
Henderson has the potential to be a great cornerback but the issue is his perceived unwillingness to get physical in the run game. He often makes business decisions when engaged in the run game. He has elite ball skills that translate to the next level but the willingness to tackle is hit or miss. Henderson has the H/L that teams will covet but not the weight part. He needs an NFL strength and conditioning program in the worst way.
2 Lamical Perine 5’11 221 RB Senior
Perine isn’t an elite athlete but has just enough athleticism to get the job done. He is an in the box type of physical runner with the occasional ability to bust one outside. Footwork and instincts are major pluses in his game. I like the fact that he realizes what he is and stays in that role, always falling forward. It will be interesting to see how he does in the Senior Bowl in January.
58 Jonathan Greenard 6’3 260 EDGE RS Senior
Greenard has been a revelation for the Gators when he has been healthy this season. The Louisville transfer has been dominant under DC Todd Grantham’s system. A really good athlete regardless of which stance he rushes from. A quick twitch burst to match his arsenal of pass rush moves.
12 Van Jefferson 6’2 195 WR RS Senior
The son of longtime NFL receivers coach Shawn Jefferson so you just know that he’s well schooled in the fundamentals. It shows on tape that he consistently gets open despite a lack of elite athleticism. He could be a Mohamed Sanu type for the team that drafts him. Won’t wow you physically but will bring work ethic to the job every day. He has accepted an invite to the Shrine Game.
