5. Atlanta Falcons – AJ Epenesa, EDGE Iowa

Probably the second best edge in the class and arguably a top ten talent, the Falcons need to find a way to pressure opposing quarterbacks and Epenesa is the guy to do it.

6. Detroit Lions – Jerry Jeudy, WR Alabama

A wide receiver with generational talent has to be the pick. Matthew Stafford was signed to a big contract because of his production on offense despite sensational talent. Jeudy will be the most talented receiver that Stafford has played with since Calvin Johnson. This just might get them over that playoff hump.

7. Arizona Cardinals – Tristan Wirfs, OT Iowa

Iowa has been a hot spot for offensive line talent for a long time and I do not expect that to change with Wirfs. Arguably the best tackle in the draft, this pick is necessary to ensure the safety of young signal caller, Kyler Murray.

8. Jacksonville Jaguars – Tua Tagovailoa, QB Alabama

With talent littered everywhere on the offensive side of the ball, there still is a lack of production on offense for the Jags. Tagovailoa is the top quarterback prospect in the eyes of many even with his most recent injury. A new coaching staff may be drafting in April, expect them to go get ‘their guy’ early assuming medical staff gives the thumbs up on Tagovailoa.

9. New York Jets- Alex Leatherwood, OT Alabama

Leatherwood is the third tackle off the board, and many more are to come. Leatherwood brings a physical presence to an offensive line struggling to keep Sam Darnold clean.
