Clemson v. South Carolina: Several Clemson players raise their draft stock

Tee Higgins WR
Scouting Report
Admittedly, I have not been the biggest fan of Tee Higgins, but as he continues to dominate as he did against South Carolina it is hard to continue feeling this way. Higgins is coming off out a lights-out performance against the Gamecocks: 3 receptions, 101 yards, and 2 touchdowns. He continued to prove that despite not being equipped with elite speed that he can still take the top off a defense.

Higgins isn’t known for his ability to separate (my biggest knock on him), but as the season continues to roll on, he seems to be laying though concerns to rest. He will never be the most agile route runner, but he is an intelligent one. You don’t always have to be the smoothest when running your routes when you can set-up defenders like Higgins can.
As noted, and seen in the video above, Higgins sells the post route inside, getting the cornerback to commit to the post. Higgins then breaks his route the outside creating mass amounts of separation. If Higgins continues on the upward trajectory that he is currently on through the playoffs it will be hard to deny him as one of the top wide receiver prospects in the 2020 NFL draft class.
