6. J.K. Dobbins, Ohio State

Like Jonathan Taylor, J.K. Dobbins has a three-year career of excellence. This season he became Ohio State’s second leading rusher of all time, and his skills will having him playing on Sunday soon enough. This season, he is approaching 2,000 yards rushing and has 21 touchdowns. He has looked impressive doing it as well.

Dobbins has been the driving force of the top ranked Buckeyes’ offense with Justin Fields this year, and after a down year last season, has bounced back in full force.

Dobbins has an exciting blend of speed, vision, and balance that will surely have NFL teams swooning. In the clip, he displays patience, waiting for the right lane to open, then decisively hits it for the score. He has good enough speed to be a homerun threat as well.

Also like Taylor, he has a lot of wear on his legs already. He also doesn’t break a ton of tackles like some of the others on this list. He is often running through truck-sized holes, so his stats could be inflated a little by a dominant offensive line. He is a fantastic prospect though, who should hear his name called in round two.
