5. Zack Moss, Utah

If it’s power running that you seek, look no further than Zack Moss. With powerful legs and tremendous balance, Moss is a load to bring down for any defender. Stat-wise, Moss has posted three consecutive 1,000 yard seasons at Utah. In 2019, he totaled over 1,500 yards and 16 touchdowns.

While the Utes failed to lock down a playoff spot last night in their loss to Oregon in the PAC-12 championship game, Moss still managed to run for over 100 yards on the ground. He is a tantalizing, balanced back in this 2020 NFL Draft class.

Here, Moss shows off what he does best. He meets the oncoming defender head-to-head, powers through him, and goes into the endzone. This is something he does…a lot. His speed isn’t elite, but it is adequate. He does show solid footwork and his blocking ability will allow him to stay on the field in all situations.

Moss does have some wear on his legs, and his perceived lack of big play ability could cause some teams to drop him on their board. He is more  old school in his approach, but he has the potential to be a big-time player in the NFL. He’s worthy of a round two selection.
