4. Najee Harris, Alabama

Alabama has had some great running backs over the years. Najee Harris is yet another in that long line of greatness. Last year, he was part of a committee, but this year he became the lead back and has thrived. A threat both running and receiving, he has recorded nearly 1,400 yards from scrimmage and 18 touchdowns. He also had what might be the best play of the year.

Harris catches the ball out of the backfield and heads down the field. He punishes the first defender with a stiff arm, leaps a second defender, then shrugs off a third before crossing the goalline for the score. In that single play, he showed off what makes him special.

At 6’2, 227 lbs, Harris looks the part of a power back. However, he isn’t just a bruiser. He has some wiggle in traffic and catches the ball well too. He isn’t the accelerator of some, but he isn’t slow either. If he performs well at the NFL Combine, he could hear his name called very early in day two of the 2020 NFL Draft as he has helped his stock tremendously this season with the Crimson Tide.
