6. Arizona Cardinals: Derrick Brown, DT, Auburn

Thomas and Wirfs would be the ideal fits for the Cardinals. With both gone, they select the best player on the board. With holes everywhere on the roster, Auburn defensive tackle Derrick Brown adds immediate help to a defense that sorely needs it.

7. New York Jets: Jerry Jeudy, WR, Alabama

Can we draft a new head coach in this spot? No? Oh okay. Well we give Sam Darnold some much needed help instead. Alabama wide receiver Jerry Jeudy has received some odd criticism this season. I plead to not overthink this guy. With effortless route running prowess, YAC ability and long speed, Jeudy is a playmaker who can affect the game on all areas of the field.

8. Jacksonville Jaguars: CeeDee Lamb, WR, Oklahoma

Back to back wide receiver selections inside the top ten is not very common. Oklahoma wide receiver CeeDee Lamb is just too impressive to ignore at this spot. A nice compliment to breakout star D.J. Chark, Lamb’s combination of body control, hand strength and YAC ability should lead to many pro bowl berths in the future.

9. Los Angeles Chargers: Tua Tagovailoa, QB, Alabama

All signs are pointing towards a full recovery for Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa from a dislocated hip against Mississippi State. Injury aside, Tua sits as one of the outstanding quarterback prospects in recent memory. 2019 has not been kind to long time quarterback Philip Rivers, putting into question his immediate future. Whether it is behind Rivers for a year or an immediate fix, Tua is here to stay.
