14. Cleveland Browns: Grant Delpit, S, LSU

Word is Browns safety Damarious Randall’s days in Cleveland are numbered. With the added emphasis on being able to play in space, versatile defenders are continuing to increase in importance with every passing season. It wasn’t too long ago that LSU safety Grant Delpit was viewed as an elite prospect in the 2020 NFL Draft class. With a struggling 2019 season, some are jumping off the Delpit bandwagon. Could not be I! When healthy, Delpit is who we thought he was… a versatile matchup piece with All Pro potential.

15. Indianapolis Colts: Justin Herbert, QB, Oregon

Indianapolis Colts quarterback Jacoyi Brissett has done an admirable job filling in for the departed Andrew Luck this season. With uneven play as of late however, some have come to question the long term success of the Colts under Brissett. With an extremely talented roster, we can’t waste the window trying to find out. Oregon quarterback Justin Herbert falls into their lap in the middle of round one. This presents a perfect quarterback-head coach marriage between Herbert and Colts coach Frank Reich.

16. Philadelphia Eagles: Henry Ruggs III, WR, Alabama

If you have tuned into a Philadelphia Eagles game this season, you can not help but to feel for quarterback Carson Wentz. Playing with mostly practice squad players through the ladder of this season, it is time for an overhaul at the position. Alabama wide receiver Henry Ruggs III is the often undersold member of a talented Crimson TIde wide receiver core. After he runs a 4.2 forty yard dash at the 2020 NFL Scouting Combine, that won’t last much longer.

17. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Jordan Love, QB, Utah State

Some Tampa Bay Buccaneers are holding onto hope for quarterback Jameis Winston… for whatever reason. Please let the insanity stop! It is time for a new era for the Buccaneers. Perhaps the quarterback with the highest upside in the class, Utah State’s Jordan Love has some impressive touch, and tools that a quarterback coach dreams about. Luckily for him, he has one of the best offensive minds to work with him in head coach Bruce Arians. It is a match made in heaven.
