26. Kansas City Chiefs: D’Andre Swift, RB, Georgia

The Kansas City Chiefs have done a pretty solid job making Lesean McCoy and Damian Williams look like solid options in the run game. That team is missing Kareem Hunt a lot more than meets the eye. They select an outstanding all around option in Georgia running back D’Andre Swift. Not many coaches are better than getting their playmakers in space than head coach Andy Reid. Look for Swift to be the early favorite for offensive rookie of the year.

27. New Orleans Saints: Jalen Reagor, WR, TCU

The future remains up in the air for New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees. Still playing at a very high level, we are going to assume Brees still has at least a year left in the tank. So in that scenario, we select a speed demon at wide receiver who can create a high level of separation as the Robin to Michael Thomas’ batman. TCU Jalen Reagor is potentially the best deep threat in the class outside of Alabama’s Henry Ruggs. Reagor is an easy transition from the over the hill version of Ted Ginn.

28. San Francisco 49ers: Trey Smith, IOL, Tennessee

Laken Tomlinson and Mike Person currently occupy the starting guard positions for the San Francisco 49ers. It is time for a huge upgrade. We find that instantly with Tennessee offensive guard Trey Smith. If not for some health concerns, Smith would be significantly more discussed amongst this draft class. Trey Smith is a mountain of a man who possesses some eye popping athletic traits at 6-6 and 325 pounds.

29. New England Patriots: Yetur Gross-Matos, Edge, Penn State

The New England Patriots love them some big bodied edge rushers. With the athletic profile that Penn State defensive end Yetur Gross-Matos exudes, he is exactly what you would expect from a Patriots defensive end. The upside for Gross-Matos is tremendous, especially at this juncture in the first round.
