30 Chuba Hubbard 6’1 207 RB RS Sophomore

Hubbard has been the breakout star at the running back position this season. He currently leads all of FBS in rushing yards by a significant margin. Hubbard should have been invited to New York for the Heisman ceremonies and was “upset” by Wisconsin’s Johnathan Taylor for the Doak Walker Award. He’s from Canada.

Lateral agility is a massive plus. His juke and circle button on the PlayStation controller works, that’s for sure. Not the fastest back but has enough speed to make the runs count. He’s only weapon left for the Cowboys that opposing defenses have to respect due to injuries elsewhere.

4 A.J. Green 6’1 180 CB Senior

Green is an underrated corner in this class. He doesn’t get a lot of publicity due to the conference and team he plays for but he did net a Senior Bowl invite. Not the most physical player but can play press coverage when asked. Versatile in that he can play both inside as the slot or on the outside. Equally adept at playing both man and zone as well.

NFL teams will covet his height and length. His frame is an issue as he weighs just 180. Lateral agility is a plus to his game. Footwork is a key trait of his. He has accepted his invitation to the Senior Bowl.

12 Jordan McCray 6’6 187 RS Senior

McCray is a graduate transfer who transferred in from South Alabama. He’s a big body red zone type of receiver that can go get the ball at the high point. He’s a bit lanky as frames go and needs to add some weight to that 6’6. It hasn’t been the smoothest transitions for him as he has only had 17 receptions for 216 yards and two touchdowns. Still, he did enough this season to garner a Shrine Game invitation.
