OSU vs. Clemson: Fiesta Bowl 2020 NFL Draft prospect stock report
We were introduced to an instant classic of a football game in last night’s Fiesta Bowl. Each 2020 NFL Draft prospect showed up but who stood out?
The prime time game did not leave college football fans disappointed. Undoubtedly living up to its hype, the Fiesta Bowl on Saturday night was a true heavyweight fight between two of college football’s elite programs. Clemson was able to edge out the Buckeyes in the waning moments of the game that we all expected to go down to the wire. How did 2020 NFL Draft prospects in this game represent themselves?
Clemson started off a little slow and it looked very concerning early that maybe their lack of schedule strength had finally caught up to them. They were being dominated early up front and Ohio State looked like the more physical team. At the end of the day, you can’t question the heart of a champion as Clemson rose battled back and showed their championship DNA.
They showed that the immense amount of talent on their roster will travel and play in any conference as they were able to edge out the Buckeyes. Ohio State brought the fight early and looked like they were ready to run away with it early.

Early in the game, Ohio State failed to kick Clemson while they were down and kept putting three points on the board instead of seven. Them allowing Clemson to hang around came back to haunt them because the longer you let a championship stay in a ball game, they are bound to come back. Ohio State came up short but it definitely wasn’t due to a lack of talent on their roster.
Both teams were loaded on each side of the ball coming into the game and those players showed up. One player in particular became the most trending player in the world on twitter for a few hours which is impressive. Other prospects showed up as the usual suspects in what turned out to be the perfect playoff game to end the decade. There were a lot of great players but there were a select few who raised their stock no matter how high it already was.
