LSU vs. OU: 2020 NFL Draft prospect stock report from Peach Bowl
9
Joe Burrow QB
Scouting Report
Ofcourse Joe Burrow’s stock is up! He was easily the best player on the field coming into the game and he made sure that was the case after the game. Throwing for 493 yards with SEVEN touchdowns through the air will always help your case.
He even added a touchdown on the ground just for fun. His legs made some more magic Saturday as he continued to show us how special he is at moving in the pocket similar to Tom Brady. His pocket presence gets more unreal every time you watch him play.
Burrow just doesn’t miss either as he has elite anticipation and accuracy to hit receivers with ease even when he has to throw off platform. Joe Burrow will most certainly be suiting up for the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday’s next fall.
2
Justin Jefferson WR
Scouting Report
Whatever shot of adrenaline Jefferson took before the game, he needs to do that every week because Oklahoma never had a shot of guarding him all night. Jefferson torched the Oklahoma secondary for 227 yards on 14 receptions with four TDs.

He was a mismatch all night long for safeties as he went to work from the slot with ease. He is a guy who has been raising his stock all year but for him to show up like this on a stage this big is going to give his stock some serious rise. A very complete receiver who is a very good route runner with the savviness to understand field spacing and where to sit his routes downs.
He consistently finishes contested catches which makes him all the more intriguing because he is a guy you can look for to consistently win on 3rd downs and crucial situations. Good at picking yards after catch, Justin Jefferson just made himself a whole lot of money and is trending towards top 5 wide receiver territory. Yes, Justin that’s FOUR touchdowns and you sir are a bad man.
2
Ceedee Lamb WR
Scouting Report
About the only thing that looked like it belong on the field for Oklahoma was wide receiver Ceedee Lamb. He had four receptions for 119 yards despite a very pedestrian night from the Oklahoma Sooners. There aren’t many games you can turn on for Lamb and see him not show up which is what you want to see out of a guy who will be a team’s number one wide receiver.
He has improved as a route runner which showed in his ability to get open against a really talented LSU secondary. He’s special after the catch with dangerous strength when running the ball as a guy who is very hard to bring down and rarely gets tackled by the first defender he sees.
Lamb actually may have had more yards if Justin Hurts didn’t miss him on a few throws because he was consistently getting open. Ceedee Lamb was the long bright spot for Oklahoma and he raised his already high stock to stamp himself as a top 15 prospect in this draft class.
