Round 1, Pick 4: Jedrick Wills |OT| Alabama
The Giants are in a division with DeMarcus Lawrence, Montez Sweat, and 99% sure Chase Young. The G-MEN need to get an elite tackle to protect their second-year quarterback in Daniel Jones. Nate Solder is showing signs of aging, and extremely overpriced at this point in his career. Adding a new offensive tackle early in the draft is a much needed endeavor for the Giants.

The New York Giants general manager Dave Gettleman loves his big boys, he calls them “hog maulies.” That is exactly what Wills is, Wills is 6’5 and weighs 320-pounds. Gettleman sticks to his own personal tendencies not trade back in the draft, Gettleman rather grab the best player available but also factor in team needs while drafting.
Jedrick Wills is one of the best non-quarterback prospects in this year’s NFL draft class. Wills is an obvious blue-chip prospect, that will be select very early in the 2020 NFL Draft for the New York Giants. He is in competition with Georgia’s Andrew Thomas, Iowa’s Tristan Wirfs, and Louisville’s Mekhi Becton for the top tackle in this year’s crop of offensive linemen.
Here the Giants land the Crimson Tide standout with the fourth pick in the draft in order to clear lanes for Saquon Barkley and protect Jones.
