2. Jerry Jeudy, Alabama

Most likely a pick in the top-15, Jerry Jeudy is the next player on the list and is considered either the No. 1 or No. 2 wide receiver in this class depending on who you ask. Over the past two seasons, Jeudy has taken his game to the next level for Alabama and in three years he has 159 catches for 2,742 yards with 26 touchdowns.

An incredible route-runner, Jeudy excels at gaining separation from defenders and has been able to turn that into a career average of 17.2 yards per reception. Despite these numbers in college, he didn’t exactly wow at the Combine but that shouldn’t stop anyone from considering him. All that’s needed is to turn on the tape and it’s easy to see that he’s on another level.

NFL.com‘s Lance Zierlein is also a believer as he compares Jeudy to Santonio Holmes, praising the top-end speed and crisp route-running Jeudy has.

"“Mixes tight, crisp route-running with impressive top-end speed to keep secondaries on eggshells throughout the game. Jeudy is high-cut and a little leggy in his press release and short-area movements, but fluid hips and above-average agility prevent any stagnation. He’s a linear route specialist with a great feel for leveraging and then stemming defenders away from his food on intermediate and deep passes.” — Zierlein, NFL.com"

The key for Washington landing Jeudy would be taking a trade down, but not going too far. There’s a shot he will be there after the top-10 but would be a risk to go any farther back than No. 14 where the Tampa Bay Buccaneers currently sit if he is the target.
