The Vikings have been very active during free agency this offseason. What can the they do in the 2020 NFL Draft to help them get back to the playoffs?

The Minnesota Vikings are one of those teams that shock you year in and year out as they win games that they are supposed to lose and they also lose games that they are supposed to win. After losing a ton of talent this offseason, how will they recoup in the 2020 NFL Draft?

When quarterback Kirk Cousins is on, the Vikings play a whole lot better on offense. The Vikes had one of the best offenses on paper last season with Cousins at quarterback, Dalvin Cook at running back, Stefon Diggs and Adam Thielen at wide receiver, and Kyle Rudolph and rookie Irv Smith at tight end. Minnesota also upgraded their offensive line during the draft last year.

The Vikings are one of the most active teams during free agency this offseason. One of the biggest headliners this offseason was when the Vikings shipped star wide receiver to the Buffalo Bills for a first, fifth, and sixth-round pick in the 2020 NFL Draft and a future fourth-round pick. The Vikings now have a bit of a hole to fill at the wide receiver spot.

Minnesota also lost all three of their starting cornerbacks due to free agency, Xavier Rhodes, Trae Waynes, and Mackenzie Alexander. The Vikes have a young group of cornerbacks in Mike Hughes and Holton Hill, but they are gonna need to get some help if they want to be back in the playoffs next season.
