The Philadelphia Eagles are just a few pieces away from being the lead dog in the NFC East again, and can get there with a solid 2020 NFL Draft

The Philadelphia Eagles just snuck into the playoffs last season, despite being one of the most injured team ever seen. They had their starting quarterback, running back, wide receivers, offensive lineman, cornerbacks, defensive lineman, and even more were sidelined at some point throughout the 2019 season. Heading into the 2020 NFL Draft, what will they do?

The Eagles starting quarterback Carson Wentz got hurt in the Wildcard game against the Seattle Seahawks, the Eagles had to put in 38-year old Josh McCown to try and win the game for them. The Eagles had injuries everywhere on their roster but the most injured positions were the receiver and cornerback.

The Philadelphia Eagles made a trade this offseason that put them right back into the win the NFC East again. The Eagles acquired Darius Slay from the Detroit Lions in exchange for a third and a fifth-round pick and the Eagles also had to sign an extension to Slay when he officially got traded.

They also brought in a few more pieces to fix that defense, cornerback Trevor Williams, cornerback Nickell Robey-Coleman, safety Will Parks, and nose tackle Javon Hargrave were some of the big ones. Williams, Slay, Robey-Coleman will come in right away and start for their secondary and with the addition of Parks that will sub in and out of the game. This defense is trying to get back to where it was when they won the Super Bowl a few seasons ago.
